  • Why Hire an Agent?

  • Before Your Home is Listed
    Prior to putting your home on the market, you’ll want to ensure that everything is in good showing condition before buyers start to tour the home.  You only get one chance to make a first impression.  Here are some things to consider:

    • Start Packing
      Now is the time to put things in storage, clean out closets and the garage and freshen up and declutter from top to bottom.  This includes removing any family photos and personal items.  Remember, you want the buyer to be able to see themselves in your home.
    • Spot Paint
      Touch up paint inside and out to make sure everything looks clean and fresh. Frequently your home is competing with brand new model homes so you want it to look fresh.
    • Update Carpet
      Update, replace or clean worn or dirty carpet in high traffic areas and keep colors neutral
    • Extra Cleaning
      Deep clean inside and outside to make it clean, uncluttered and odor free
    • Curb Appeal
      Trim overgrown bushes, mow and manicure the yard – especially the front. Replace any worn or broken fixtures
    • Find Potential Problems Early
      Consider having a pre-listing home inspection and fix all the issues found. The buyer will have an inspection, so you will save time and make them feel much more confident about the condition of the house. This can lead to higher offers as well because they feel the home was well taken care of.
  • Professional Staging
    In certain cases, using a staging service can increase the sales price as well as decreasing the time on market.
  • During the Listing Period
    During the Listing – Have a plan for getting out of the house during showings, removing pets, keeping the house show-ready within a designated time frame.
